Good Manners & Obedience Class
Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Obedience, and Good Manners
This class is designed for dogs 12 weeks to one year of age.
Basic Obedience Adult Class (6 weeks)
This class is designed for dogs over one year of age.
Our Good Manners & Obedience class meets once a week for approximately one hour. Sessions are 6 weeks long, including an orientation during the first class. You will learn how to teach your dog basic commands, including:
- Sit
- Down
- Stay
- Come
- Leave It
… and more!
We will also discuss loose leash walking and common problems such as chewing, digging, and jumping.
Continuing Education (5 weeks)
In this class you and your four legged friend will build on old cues such as stay, come, and heel. We will work closely with the other dogs in the class to ensure good manners when meeting others on walks, and learn focus and control with other dogs present.
Class meets once a week for approximately one hour. Sessions are 5 weeks long. Refine the skills your dog learned from Good Manners & Obedience Class. Continue to work on basic commands, including:
- Sit
- Stay
- Come
- Heel
…as well as introducing your dog to Agility and Rally Obedience. Try out our tunnel, jumps, and obedience obstacle course. Lear tricks, continue to socialize, and participate in the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen program.
