Downers Grove Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic has been providing medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, birds and small mammals in the same location since 1947. We strive to create an inviting, comfortable environment to nurture and strengthen the bond between you and your furry and feathered family members. We are fully equipped to care for your pets when they are sick, but would prefer to keep them healthy! To that end, our primary focus is preventative health care. All of the services you need for your pet are available under one roof at Downers Grove Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic, preventative, medical care, surgery, dentistry, training, boarding, and grooming. Our facility is currently owned and operated by Dr. Graham Merkin and Dr. Max Merkin both third generation veterinarians.
